Adam joined LC Ecological Services (LCES) as a permanent member of staff in June 2022 following two years as a seasonal assistant. Prior to joining LCES Adam has gained invaluable experience through both employment and voluntary opportunities, including working with mute swans at Abbotsbury Swannery, livestock and farm management as well as practical conservation. Adam studied a BSc in Applied Terrestrial and Marine Ecology at Bangor university between 2014 and 2018 during which he spent a lot of time participating in co-curricular activities such as Bird watching, botanical surveys, and spent 6 weeks in Romania studying blue butterflies as part of his dissertation. Since joining LCES Adam has been involved in a number of projects including Phase 1 Habitat and more recently UK Habitat Classification surveys, a multitude of protected species surveys including bats, breeding birds, reptiles, great crested newts and dormice and subsequently writing reports including PRAs, PEAs and ECIAs.
